TX3 Blanks feature an all new method of assembling multi-modulus materials into a tubular fishing rod blank. Not just two or three different materials – but 5 (five) different Axis’ of material orientation. At their core, TX3 blanks are based on High Modulus Unidirectional prepreg graphite. This material offers up extreme strength and sensitivity. The second layer is an off-axis (dual 45 degree) woven fabric which aids in keeping the blank from ovaling while under load. Finally, an integrated 60/40 glass weave on top of these materials offers a boost in hoop strength and impact resistance.
